The Monarch of the Glen

Technically, this is a mosaic, but I couldn't find the option for that. But anyway, this piece is a rendering of Sir Edward Lear's Monarch of the Glen, which took more than 40 hours to break, place, glue, and grout the hundreds of shards of glass onto a clear pane of glass. I think I may have more than a few gray hairs (which I haven't found yet) because of it. Ugh.
This is a photo of it with the light coming through it, because it looks terrible otherwise. The white grout I used seems to bleach the color out. (le sigh) I apologize Sir Robert Locksly(yes I did name him), I have done you wrong.
